Jennifer Lopez  On the 6
On the 6 is the debut album by American singer Jennifer Lopez, released on June 1, 1999 via Epic Records. The title comes from the train number she often used.
The album peaked at number eight on the U.S. Billboard 200, remaining on the top twenty for eleven weeks and on the chart for fifty-three (making one re-entry). It sold seven million units worldwide and produced five singles, including the Billboard Hot 100 number-one "If You Had My Love" and the Hot Dance Club Play number-one "Waiting for Tonight". The album's title refers to the 6 subway line in New York City, which Lopez used to commute to work in Manhattan from her home in the Bronx during the early years of her career. The original title for On the 6 was Feelin' So Good. Lopez even wanted the song "Feelin' So Good" to be the first single instead of "If You Had My Love". The album includes two songs previously sung by Diana Ross:"Promise Me You'll Try" and Theme from Mahogany (Do You Know Where You're Going To)".

The second single, "Play", performed disappointingly, which led Lopez's team to bring in Ja Rule of The Inc. Records (then known as Murder Inc. Rebirth
Rebirth is the fourth studio album (fifth overall) by American singer Jennifer Lopez, released in 2005 via Epic Records.
The album's working title, Call Me Jennifer, was a response to the "J.Lo" moniker which Lopez claims gave her an unfair reputation as an over-the-top diva. The eventual title was chosen as an attempt to start a new beginning after the "Bennifer" fall-out and the immense critical and commercial failure of the 2003 film Gigli. The music itself is standard Lopez fare, '80s-tinged urban pop and funk combined with orchestral ballads. Her new husband, Marc Anthony, co-wrote and co-produced one of the album's tracks, "(Can't Believe) This Is Me".
Rebirth was also released in a DualDisc format. The DualDisc contains the album in enhanced stereo, the "Get Right" music video, the "Get Right" remix music video featuring rapper Fabolous, and a short documentary on the recording of the album. The documentary was originally shot by acclaimed director D. A. Pennebaker, who shot Bob Dylan's 1967 Dont Look Back.
The album was a commercial disappointment in the United States. Worldwide, the album sold just around two million copies. It achieved international success, being Lopez's most successful album in Japan, where it sold more than 200,000 copies. Rebirth was also the best-selling foreign-language album in Turkey for 2005. Because of the humble-selling and the international bomb of the second single "Hold You Down", the foreseen release of the song "Cherry Pie" as the third single had been scrapped. However, the song peaked at number ninety-seven of the UK Singles Chart because of airplay.

Tracklist
1."Get Right" (Rich Harrison, James Brown) – 3:45
2."Step into My World" (Rodney Jerkins, Delisha Thomas, Fred Jerkins III, Hector Diaz) – 4:05
