Music of the Sun is the debut studio album by Barbadian singer Rihanna, released by Def Jam Records on August 30, 2005 in the United States
The album was co-written by her and the SRP label imprint. The album features twelve songs and a remix of "Pon de Replay" with Elephant Man. For her debut album Rihanna stuck with her Caribbean background style. Music of the Sun includes the singles "Pon de Replay", "If It's Lovin' That You Want", and, in Japan, "Let Me". The album features guest appearances by Elephant Man, J-Status and Kardinal Offishall.
The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 and at #2 on Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums, selling 69,000 copies in its first week. So far the album has sold 500,000+ copies in the U.S and was certified Gold on November 1, 2006. Music of the Sun has sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

A Girl Like Me is the second studio album by pop singer/rapper Rihanna. It was released through Def Jam Records on April 19, 2006 in Japan, on April 24 in the United Kingdom, and on April 25 in the United States (see 2006 in music).
The album debuted at number five on the U.S. Billboard 200 with over 115,000 copies sold in its first week, nearly twice the debut sales of Music of the Sun. It debuted at number six on the UK Album Chart with 24,000 copies sold that week, and reached its peak of number five in July due to the popularity of new single "Unfaithful". To date the album has sold 400,000 copies in the UK. In the United States it has been certified Platinum by the RIAA] and it has also achieved a platinum certification in Europe. In 2006, the album ended the year as the 20th best-selling album in the world.
The lead single, "SOS" (also known as "S.O.S. (Rescue Me)", achieved considerable airplay throughout the United States and Canada and reached high peak positions on both airplay charts. It contains samples of the 1981 cover version of "Tainted Love" from Soft Cell. The song peaked at number two in the UK and at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. "Unfaithful", the second single, peaked at number six on the Hot 100, however, outside the US it performed better becoming a number one hit in Portugal and Switzerland and reaching the top 10 across 16 countries.] The third single, "We Ride", was released to U.S. radio on August 21 and wasn't nearly as successful as the previous two singles, not charting on the Billboard Hot 100 (it peaked at number six on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart); it was, however, a number-one club hit and it charted in the top 10 in New Zealand and Finland. The fourth single from the album was "Break It Off" (featuring Sean Paul), peaked at number nine on the Hot 100 to become Rihanna's fourth top ten single in the United States.
A Girl Like Me generally received mixed to positive reviews from critics. David Jeffries of the Allmusic said that "Versatile urban dance-pop singer Rihanna gracefully avoids the sophomore slump with A Girl Like Me, a less tropical-flavored, more urban effort than her sun-and-fun debut." Songs including "SOS", "Unfaithful" and "Break It Off" gained particularly good notices. The Observer noted "Chuck in a bit of Sugababes-esque harmony, some M.I.A.-style electro and a dollop of reggae, and you're even closer to getting Rihanna. If you liked last year's ridiculously catchy "Pon De Replay", there's more of the same here."

Good Girl Gone Bad is the third studio album by pop singer Rihanna, released on June 4, 2007 in most European countries and on June 5, 2007 in the United States. The album has achieved considerable worldwide success having sold more than 6 million copies worldwide, being the best-selling 2007 release to date, and its singles have become major hitsthese include the worldwide number-one hit single "Umbrella" the European and Australian number-one "Don't Stop the Music" (which also became a top three hit in the U.S. and Canada), "Hate That I Love You" and "Shut Up and Drive", which became top ten and top twenty hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
The album was re-released in June 2008, a year after its original release, under the title Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. The double-disc deluxe edition package includes three new singles: the U.S., Canadian and UK number-one "Take a Bow", "If I Never See Your Face Again" (which debuted at number fifty-seven on the Billboard Hot 100) and "Disturbia", which became the third single from the album to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The album has been certified two times Platinum by the RIAA, denoting shipments to U.S. retailers of two million copies.
Rihanna re-released the album with a double-disc deluxe edition package titled Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded in June 2008. In the U.S., the set includes the standard edition's 12 tracks, with three all new tracksthe lead U.S. number-one single "Take a Bow", a remix of "If I Never See Your Face Again" with Maroon 5, and the U.S. number-one single "Disturbia"and a DVD containing behind the scenes footage and four live performances from her tours, and was housed in a digipak. The deluxe edition of Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded has gone out of print within months of its release, and has been replaced with the exact same CD disc as the deluxe edition, however, it is packaged in a standard CD case as opposed to the original release's digipak, and it does not include the bonus DVD. In the U.S., the album's artwork features a green toned background instead of the original's grey toned background. In the UK, the background is a white-gray toned background instead of the green. The revamped version of the album was released in most countries on June 17, but the CD version was released on June 2 in the UK (with the DVD version following on June 16) and on June 21 in Australia. "Disturbia" was released online in May 2008. The song "Cry" was released on international versions of the album and is a UK and Australian bonus track on the re-release. The re-release made the album soar from 124 to 7 on the Billboard 200, selling 63,000 copies and having a 930% sales increases. iTunes has now removed the standard version of Good Girl Gone Bad and replaced it with the new Reloaded version. In France the album soared from 141 to 43 having the greatest gainer of the week. In the UK it soared from number fifty-nine to number twelve having the "Greatest Gainer" certification, before rising to number five later on in its chart run. By September 14 2008 the album has still been charting strongly in the UK, dipping in and out of the top 10 for many weeks. Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded reached a new peak of #3 on the UK Albums Chart. Two weeks after reaching a new peak of #3 on the UK charts, Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded moved up another place to reach a new peak of #2. Only being kept off the top spot by Kings Of Leon's Only By The Night.
